Finnair's latest business class seats are unique and eye-catching: they wrap a wide chair with a thickened shell that doesn't tilt like traditional seats. If you want to lie flat, just sit forward and lie down directly. There is a flat partition that extends outward, and the space is enough for you to stretch your legs comfortably on it. Your height may affect the comfort of legs stretching, but the cocoon-like semi-wrapped housing design does provide a more satisfying privacy space.
#02â–¼Super long-distance flight is more comfortable
Qantas announced plans to fly direct from Sydney to New York and London in 2025 and launch new first-class suites. The new Airbus A350-1000s will be equipped with a bed, separate lounge chairs and a private wardrobe, as well as sliding doors separated by the walkway and a 32-inch oversized TV. These cabins will be the largest product on the market at present. In response to the demand for ultra-long-distance travel, special areas will be set up on the plane to provide hydrating beverages, stretch areas and snack stations to make this long journey more comfortable.
On the other end of the Tasman Sea, Qantas Air New Zealand, its competitor, also revealed the plan for a new business class on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Unlike its competitors, Air New Zealand only improved its original seats, such as separating another level of business class with privacy doors. Customers who value privacy can be isolated from the aisle at an additional cost. This is good news for Star Alliance Airlines, which are planning to launch ultra-long flights between New York and Oakland.

In the United States, Delta has added first-class seats to its latest airbus A321neo, most of which will be responsible for cross-continental routes, and a few will also fly short flights.
