This cross-border art event led by Chengyi Group has built Kaohsiung into an art city that tells stories with creativity. The two major exhibition areas include the “3rd Asian Illustration Art Expo of Chengyi Hotel” and the “Kaohsiung Port Tourism Center Special Exhibition: Art Entering Hong Kong – Manbo”, which brings together 100 artists from Taiwan, Japan and South Korea to build Kaohsiung into an international harbor city with art as the language through cross-cultural art exchanges.

Chengyi Hotel｜The 3rd Asian Illustration Art Expo
If you like illustrations or art exhibitions, don’t miss the illustration feast on the 14th and 15th floors of Chengyi Hotel. This year, with the theme of “Arriving at My Art Home”, we will directly transform the hotel room into 40 private exhibition rooms, allowing you to immerse yourself in their creative world like you enter the artist's brains! This time, we also specially invited the Korea Breeze Art Fair to jointly exhibit. The participation of 10 Korean artists made the exhibition content more international.
foxco (Watanabe Kaori), Passive Man, Zhu Xing, Pan Zizhou, Ballboss, Lenjiaoand 5 highlight artistsMaumi, Emily Liu, Zhang Zijun, cincin, Wang Shenghanet al. present the diverse landscape of contemporary art. Kaohsiung Port Tourism Center｜Art Entry: Manbo
Another exhibition area, “Kaohsiung Port Tourism Center Special Exhibition: Art Entry into Port – Manbo” continued from December 20 to February 2, 2025, and Taiwanese and Japanese artists were invited to participate in the exhibition, including Yuda Iikawa, Cheng Renpei, MAKOTO, Mimo Fengsheng, Ning Ruijie, and Kondo Go, which brought a different artistic experience next to the sparkling harbor. With the theme of “Canbo” and art connects the natural scenery of the port with the urban atmosphere.
