The president of the Fesfut Regularization Committee, Rolando González, mentioned that Styven Vásquez apologized to him for his absence in the Selecta.

The president of the Regularization Committee of the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT), the Panamanian Rolando González, gave a new update in the Styven Vásquez case, who was seen playing amateur football matches, after the conclusion of the Clausura 2025 tournament with Firpo.

The select coach, the Colombian Henán Darío Gómez, had the bull striker for the friendly against Guatemala, the World Cup tie and the next Gold Cup.

“Styven Vásquez called me after some statements that I said to apologize for what I had done. I believe in the second opportunities, but I am not the person who decides that. I have never gotten into a call. That is what the director (technician) of the selection decides,” Gonzalez said.

It is worth mentioning that the blue and white coach, “Bolillo” Gómez, commented that he has received calls from Vásquez, but he prefers to talk to the Firpo player face to face.
