Intercontinental Calendar 2025: When you play
The 2025 Intercontinental Cup still does not have the dates determined by FIFA. As the Libertadores has its stipulated end for the November 29, A match of the quarterfinals, the semifinal and the final cannot be held before that date. Dispute System of the New Intercontinental Cup
In the first stage the Asia champion or the African champion (this year the African) will face their stadium against the Auckland City, winner of Oceania. The winners of that key will play the Africa-Asia-Pacific Cup against the African or Asian champion, as appropriate. This is alternating year after year.
Also in the second stage the champion of the Libertadores faces the Concacaf champion (Cruz Azul or Vancouver Whitecaps), to a single match called Derbi de las Américas.
The winners of the two stages will face each other in the semifinal. The winner will be measured in the definition of the tournament against the European champion: the PSG.
