Want to set off to take a vacation to the best tourist spot before the end of 2024? The editors of “Vogue” also want to! And our editors consult experts in the tourism industry every day, track newly opened hotels, ask for ideas from taste experts, and go to every corner of the world to explore new attractions. As the philosopher Augustine once said, “The world is a book, and people who do not travel only read one page.”

In an era of social media flooding and over-tourism, traveling in the form of “insiders” seems to have become more important. In theory, traveling to Venice during the summer season sounds dreamy until you experience it’s a throng that has been thrust into the old city and thus destroying many of the historic and fragile infrastructure. (These eye-rolling sights certainly won't be in your friend's Instagram limited-time updates.)

Therefore, after listening, exploring and investigating, the Vogue Life Intelligence Editorial Group decided to share the following 12 best tourist locations, allowing you to travel through sustainable tourism in the next 6 months. Some locations are relatively unpopular, while some are popular with travelers all seasons; some are more suitable for relaxing and resting, while others are suitable for an unforgettable adventure. What do they have in common? It is definitely worth asking your boss for leave to experience it!

Margot Robbie and Dua Lipa were both photographed on vacation this summer in the Cycladic Islands, a population of only 2,500, and it seems the island will soon be flooding. Apart from the crystal clear water, another feature is the food here: the well-known chef Nikos Tselementes was born on Sifnos in 1878, and he is a pioneer in modern Greek cuisine. He developed the concept of “ocean and farm-to-table” on the island, and has continued to this day.

Located on the beach, Omega 3 is a very authentic seafood restaurant that Amazon President Jeff Bezos once visited. Former U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and Tom Hanks were recently spotted eating at the Cantina restaurant. Since there is no airport on the island, you can only take a boat or ferry to arrive at Sifnos. For tourists who want to slow down and relax their travels, Sifnos is the perfect place for you. ——Senior Life Editor Elise Taylor
