A few months ago, Salvadorans defeated Bonaire and Montserrat 1-0 to ensure their direct classification to the Gold Cup 2025.

Next Tuesday from 7:00 pm at the Cuscatlán Stadium, El Salvador and Surinam will play their last match of the second round of the qualifiers towards the 2026 World Cup.

Salvadorans need to add a point or three to achieve the ticket to the next phase on the way to the United States World Cup, Mexico and Canada.

The Central American team will play again in the “Coloso de Monserrat”, where he collected two cheerful memories in November last year with two victories for identical marker (1-0) against Bonaire and Montserrat, respectively, under the technical direction of Spanish David Dón Lara.

With these positive results, El Salvador obtained his Ticket to the Gold Cup 2025 and the ascent to League A.
