The select still aspires to a quota for the World Cup. For now, the opportunity is still alive. What teams did they already achieve it?
Brazil and Ecuador were classified, on Tuesday, for the World from North America of 2026, on a sixteenth date of the Classification South American who also left Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia one step away from sealing their tickets.
The pentacampeones of the world and the tricolor in this way joined Argentina as the first three classified in South America for the tournament that will be played in Mexico, the United States and Canada.

Also, on Tuesday, his Australia ticket had been secured, becoming the sixth selection of the Asian Confederation to achieve it, after Japan, South Korea, Iran, Jordan and Uzbekistan.
Together with New Zealand, classified by Oceania, the countries participating in the first World Cup with 48 selections already add.
