Although Zendaya has not participated in Met Gala many times, she has long become a fashion figure on the occasion – always accurately interpreting the theme and leaving behind amazing fashion moments. Met Gala proves this again in 2025. Under the hands of stylist Law Roach, Zendaya made her debut in a custom suit designed by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton (after all, she is one of the brand’s spokespersons). This custom white suit pays tribute to the rich history of Zoot Suit, a classic symbol of Black dandyism, known for its high-waisted, narrow-mouthed silhouette.
Her white single-breasted dovetail suit, vest, silk shirt and tie, plus bell-bottom trousers, has a neat and modern overall look. According to the brand, this Zoot Suit pays tribute to the power dressing era of the 1970s and 1980s, with special reference to the pioneers of black women who wore suits in the performance field, such as legends such as Grace Jones and Gladys Bentley.

This year, Met Gala's theme is “Tailored For You”. Zendaya chose to wear a traditional suit, which perfectly echoes the spirit of the party. She used a wide-brimmed white felt hat and a pearl-covered Louis Vuitton Speedy dinner bag as accessories, and added a gorgeous look with Bulgari jewelry.
