Without brightness, “El Tri” began the challenge of defending his Gold Cup title with a hard win
The Mexican National Team defeated, this Saturday, 3-2 with suffering to the irreverent team of the Dominican Republic, at the beginning of the defense of its title in the Concacaf Gold Cup, in a match played in the Sofi Stadium of Inglewood (California, United States).
Édson Álvarez, Raúl Jiménez and César Montes converted by the Mexicans (selection 17 of the world), while Peter González and Edison Azcona discounted through the Dominican Republic, 139 of the FIFA ranking, which left a pleasant impression in their first game in the History in the Cup.
The Dominicans left without complexes and, well stopped, they dried Mexico's attack for more than 40 minutes.

Velces, with good ball recovery and rapid appearances on the right wing of Peter González, the Caribbean put together a couple of counterattacks and created a couple of serious threats in the area defended by goalkeeper Luis Ángel Malagón.
