One more team would not play the 2025-2026 season, even yield the “category in second for free”
As in recent times, many teams stop playing for not being able to register in their league in the face of different problems that are going through. Now, the team of Brasilia de Suchitoto. The team shared a statement in their networks, in which it expressed that it would not play for the next season.
According to what they expose, the reason is that its current board of directors will not continue, so the project cannot move forward. However, they do not neglect that they can give up the category even for free to other interested persons, but that everything is legally in order to be able to move forward.

The latter with the aim of maintaining the identity and existence of the team that has been a historic in Salvadoran football, in the professional leagues. However, although they accepted that there was an approach with a group of interested people, it did not go to more.
In the document, it reads: “This Board of Directors (…) will not continue to be linked to Ad Brasilia, and-therefore-the team will not register for the next 2025-2026 season.”
Later, they said: “As a board of directors, we have made the decision to step aside. However, we clarify that we have fulfilled all our sports and economic commitments, therefore, we find solvents with players, coaching staff and suppliers.”

Finally, they clarified that in recent days “a group of people has approached who wants to form a new Board of Directors with the intention of continuing with this project. In this regard, we make the decision to give them free of charge to the Second Division, as long as they had the corresponding legal documentation, either as Ad Brasilia or other name with a different legal status, but so far that only requirement has been overcome.”
