“PhotoVogue is a beautiful platform that includes a very diverse perspective from all over the world. Importantly, the festival continues to be the cradle of creativity for the next generation of photographers, as the visibility, engagement and chance encounters gained can be priceless.

In 2023, I had the honor to shoot two “Vogue” covers. Both represent topics that I think are absolutely essential for conversations about representation and identity. The first is the French version of Vogue, where I filmed two beautiful women, Mona Tougaard and Ugbad Abdi. This is the first time that two black women have appeared on the cover of the French version of Vogue, and it is also the first time that a woman has appeared on the cover wearing a headscarf. Then I had the honor of shooting the unique Williams for the September issue of the American edition of Vogue. I didn't realize that this story would be her official announcement of retirement. This aspect feels like the icing on the cake and will always be an unforgettable experience for me. “

“Photo Vogue is the first platform to provide equal opportunities for young talents and visual artists from around the world, while challenging the rules that controlled access to the fashion industry until then. We are very grateful to the team and the wider Photo Vogue community for always enthusiastic support for each other's projects while sharing valuable feedback. The opportunity to film the Italian version of Vogue is proven to us that creativity and perseverance are two key factors in the success of this career.”
