“Japan Pavilion” service personnel uniform: designed by Nakata Yuya
The landlords of this World Expo invited POSTELEGANT designer Yu Nakada to take the role in the uniform of the service staff at the Japan Pavilion. With the concept of “wearing Japanese aesthetics”, the design of this uniform incorporates the structure of a traditional kimono. The belt can be adjusted freely and is suitable for a variety of styles and can be worn regardless of age or gender.
In terms of material, it uses plant-based polyester and recycled Boutique fiber, and is made of a single material that is easy to recycle. This kind of uniform produced in a sustainable manner can be recycled 100% after the event, and the hat, jacket and pants can be wrapped in a traditional Japanese scarf “Furuki” to cleverly display the elements of Japanese culture.

“NTT Pavilion” exhibition hall staff uniform: Designed by Morinaga Fuhiko
The uniforms of the “NTT Pavilion” exhibition hall were taken by ANREALAGE designer Fuhiko Morinaga. They took the concept of “parallel travel” in the exhibition hall as their concept, incorporated the concept of “wearing on the breeze” to show the clothing structure and shapes that communicate with the future.
The uniform jacket uses a material called “AZEK” with excellent breathable and quick drying performance, and even a built-in electric fan can roll up the air and blow the wind, shaping the outline of the whole set of shapes. The inner layer of the Polo shirt is a neutral design that is universal for both men and women, so that everyone can wear it as much as possible. Other accessories include hats and bags made from spinning “MURON” produced by discarded fishing nets, as well as logos that can be changed indoors and outdoors.
